KNIGHTRESS, violin-led metal band based in Paris, FR, and brainchild of violinist, vocalist, pianist & composer Emily Palen, fuses a crushing rhythmic foundation with searing violin leads, clean to extreme vocals and consciousness theory to form a fresh voice in the genre.

KNIGHTRESS is completed by heavyweight French musicians Leo Caviglioli (guitar), Waldo Losada (bass) and Prosper duffours (drums), bringing an unmistakable fervency to the project.  the 4-piece delivers fire and light to their live perfomances, fueled by each members “music in their veins” origin.  Together, their synergy is capturing audiences across europe after completing 2 tours, spanning 9 countries.  

Their upcoming full-length album, “the sentient condition”, recorded with well known french metal producer francis caste at studio sainte-marthe, will be released late 2025.

The music is born from an incessant need to express vast spectrums of emotion, lyrically bearing witness to life’s cruelties while pointing us back to our better natures.
